Until Whenever

orange-unnie:

To be quite honest, I’m feeling pretty pissed about everything in this fandom lately too. Just everything; the immaturity, the delusion, the conspiracy theories, the hate, the hostility, the speculations….. I don’t understand why people feel the need to be like this. It’s like fans are too deep into their heads that when they don’t see what they want to see, they blame it on the members of Big Bang, mostly GD, rather than themselves where the real problem lies. I’m sick of it, of having to defend and explain things that should be common freaking sense.

I know people are tired of waiting for a comeback but how people are letting out that frustration is totally irrational. I saw the other day on Twitter two fans, self proclaimed VIPs, saying that they don’t really care about Big Bang anymore and “look at BTS, they just had like two comebacks this year!” And then there are people jumping down GD’s throat over *everything* that might have the tiniest connection to him because they feel like he should be chained down in the recording studio day and night so we can have a comeback. THE REAL WORLD DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT. It’s like I have to pound it into people’s brains or something, that I have to babysit them and walk them through logical explanations because they can’t just think logically them self.

And you know who hurts the most because of this kind of behaviour? The very people that you are a fan of. Don’t doubt for a second that they don’t see things online, all the crap said about them. They fucking know we want a comeback but GD, as great as he is, is not a magician who can snap an album out of the air and he is not the only person working on it.

VIPs love to say that Big Bang are not idols, that they are artists, yet fans are being the biggest hypocrites right now in the way that they treat them and what they demand of them. GD is dating someone and other than a side curiosity about it, it really shouldn’t matter to anyone other than GD, Kiko, and their friends and family. It’s a relationship not a scapegoat for every problem in Big Bang right now. It is terrible how he is being treated because of it and I’m sure that’s why he received less gifts than the others today as you mentioned. And as for him being a jerk to Seungri? What the hell are you basing it on because two fan accounts of how he didn’t visit him is no where near an indication of the 10 years of friendship they’ve had and the love they’ve shown each other. It’s so stupid for people to just wave all that off because one translated statement. You have no fucking clue what he does with his time behind camera, no damn clue. You argue “but he had time for Kiko” of course but *think*. They are both ridiculously busy people, this could have been planned months in advance and as long as no one was on their death bed (which Seungri was not as much as people like to romanticize his injuries) then he wasn’t going to give that chance up. Seungri could have even told him not to worry but we don’t know!! So don’t blame anyone and claim they don’t care about Seungri. If they didn’t care, Big Bang wouldn’t exist.

God, this really makes me wonder why I’ve stayed this long in the Kpop world because it is the most over dramatic and illogical place I’ve ever found myself in. I’m here for Big Bang and their music and because I care about those boys with all my heart, everything else is just extra for me. People should start thinking like that too and stop getting so brainwashed by this mob mentality going on and by the negativity that is stewing right now. Step back, think for yourself, place yourself in their shoes, and then maybe you’ll understand.

This scene is SO important. Maleficent is with someone she trusts, someone she considers a friend. And then the next thing she knows, she wakes up in pain, bleeding, with her wings burned off. A huge part of her has been destroyed.

Rape is so prominent in our culture that it is in a Disney movie. Maybe not explicitly, but it is very clear what this scene represents and it is so sad.

I fucking cried my eyes out during this scene

AJ even confirmed that this is what this scene was a metaphor for (x) - just because i saw someone say today that this is not what this scene is about

'We were very conscious that it was a metaphor for rape': The actress explained how the scene in which her character has her wings ripped off her body while in a drug-induced sleep had to be something 'so violent and aggressive' that it would make her 'lose all sense of her maternity, her womanhood and her softness'

when a man violates a woman, he cuts off her wings.

she was dressed modestly to begin with though wtf

But obviously girl knees are so much more psychologically problematic to a developing adolescent than watching adults wield and flex the ability to humiliate powerless children with the excuse that the knees of children are inherently sexually stimulating
